My favorite meal that includes mashed potatoes is my great grandma's "cheap steak". She didn't call it cheap steak but I coined the term when she told me to purchase the cheapest steak I could find. It's pretty much just steak floured and browned then boiled in onion soup mix until it starts falling apart. It is fabulous with mashed potatoes since the onion soup creates an amazing gravy of it's own. Everytime I cook it I sure miss my great grams! email: carli @ fluffymail.com
